There is now pending in the Superior Court for the State of California in and for the County of San Joaquin (“Court”) a lawsuit entitled as Anthony Medrano and Nicola Galassi individually and on behalf of all similarly situated individuals, Plaintiffs v. Party City Corporation, a Delaware corporation, and Does 1 through 10, inclusive, Case No. STK-CV-ubt-2016-11712 (the “Lawsuit”) which involves allegations that Party City Corporation (“Party City” or “Defendant”) printed transaction receipts which contained the expiration date of customers’ American Express credit or debit cards, in violation of federal law. The time frame for the alleged violations is March 1, 2016 through November 2, 2016. Party City has denied and continues to deny any liability, and there has been no finding that Party City has violated any laws.
